Rock Cake is the second album from the great Aussie rock band for children Cubby House. This time session musicians were brought in to add keyboards, dobro, slide guitar, harmonica, African drums, didjeridoo and additional backing vocals. The Edge Of The World children’s choir feature on some tracks while Ralph the singing dog and Prunella the singing pig feature on their songs.
Cubby House take the range of musical styles on this album even further than their first CD. Rock, funk, country, ska, reggae, latin, blues, jazz, rap, and acoustic folk are all represented in this exciting musical journey. The lyrics and stories are for the kids.
