Wendy and the Wombats - the real story.

So how did the band get together?
When Wendy was growing up, she lived in the little town of Busheridoo and loved singing & dancing as a young Wombat.  She begged her parents to let her go to the Busheridoo School for Performing  Arts, & well, you guessed it, she was an outstanding student.

This is where she met the other members Wanda (her best friend), William, Wallace & his younger brother Warren.
Not only did the group have a passion for music, they also had a fervent desire to see the bush surrounding Busheridoo remain the same as it had for centuries.  

It was Wendy’s idea to make a CD, & tour the country telling everybody about why it was so important to keep every little piece of the bush, & how without it, the animals would die out (something that her distant Wombat cousins in other parts of Australia were all too familiar with) and  so….’Wendy & the Wombats’ were born.

Wendy & her band are singing songs about the importance of teamwork, tolerance towards others, self esteem & strong moral principles, plus a lot of good time oldies
as well.

This CD is great fun for all the family, and perfect for kids discos and dance classes etc.
